Basic Eligibility Requirements
Criteria | Details |

Minimum Age | Candidate must be at least 17 years old on or before 31st December 2026. |
Maximum Age | No upper age limit as per NMC/SC ruling. |
Educational Qualification | Must have passed or appeared in Class 12 (or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as core subjects. |
Minimum Marks (General) | 50% in PCB group (Physics, Chemistry, Biology). |
Minimum Marks (OBC/SC/ST) | 40% in PCB group. |
Minimum Marks (PwD) | 45% for General-PwD, 40% for SC/ST/OBC-PwD. |
Number of Attempts | No limit on number of NEET attempts. |
Nationality | Indian Citizens, NRIs, OCIs, PIOs and Foreign Nationals are eligible. |
State Domicile | Required for admission under 85% state quota in government colleges. |
